Does culture amount to no more than distinct foods, dress,music, and sports? While these outward flavors may be good and exciting, youhave a shallow and dying culture if you lack the one thing needful. At the heart of culture is worship, what youtreasure above all things. For a culture to be good this treasure must beliving. The gospel is that livingtreasure. God cultivates this treasurein our hearts through his Word, exposing the death of our sinful flesh while grantingus life in Christ with all the saints through his Word.
