Concordia Theological Seminary Press, Fort Wayne, Indiana, first published Anatomy of An Explosion - Missouri In Lutheran Perspective by Professor Kurt E. Marquart in 1977. It is a 170-page paperback with some 460 footnotes.
Anatomy of an Explosion is the third number in the Concordia Seminary Monograph Series. Editors David P. Scaer and Douglas Judisch comment: "Anatomy of an Explosion" is an apt title for a monograph describing the conflicting theological forces, which encountered each other in the sixties and seventies of our century. As when black clouds move across a summer sky, the lightning was inevitable.
